Allegory chapter 4 – The reasons why

The reasons why

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve [Wise King] and mammon.” Mat_6:24

But thou, O man of [Wise King], flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.”

1 Timothy 6:11

“What’s the hurry, Uncertain One?” her mother asked. Blessed gem reached over to turn off the phonograph. But before she could, it quit, and the lights flickered off. “Oh, I see. Another storm starting. I hope it doesn’t bring a tornado! Well, no use trying to sew now. Though it is the middle of the day, I need good light, for my eyes are a bit dim, and it’s dark outside as well as in here! I’ll finish this later. Uncertain One, do you have anything on your mind? We can talk in the dark, at least!”

“Yes, yes, that would be fine.” Uncertain One settled down on the davenport for the chat. “Guessing you won’t mind, darling, I want to say a little about Pure.” Blessed Gem smiled. “Of course, Momma. We all know that it is indeed my biggest decision at hand. Let your words flow!”

“Okay then, dear. Now, I do think you are beginning to understand the importance of a love for Pure. Yet, I wish to relate to you a parable.” “Okay, Mom.”

“All right. There was once a girl who wanted to try her hand at bread-making. But she wasn’t sure just how to proceed, having no recipe or instructor. So she tried, with the ingredients she thought best. Well, she tried multiple times, with this and that; different combinations. But I tell you what, honey, she failed terribly each and every time! Oh, It was bad. She tried so very hard too. So, at last, she contacted an experienced Baker, and asked her to come to watch, to give tips. We’ll call the girl Baker A, the Experienced one being Baker B. Baker B. quickly noticed the problem. Out of sheer ignorance, Baker A. had left out flour!

“Mom! Flour? Who would do that?!” Uncertain was quite surprised.

“Uncertain One, we are all ignorant at times down here in this earth. Unlike those heavenly. But let me point out the lesson. Number one: If Baker A. had asked for help or an opinion earlier, she could have saved time, stress, and resources. Which, thankfully, you are doing. Keep it up, ask us anything please. Number two, just like flour in bread, you must have love in a relationship for it to last OR be happy. It IS of core importance!”

Uncertain was very thoughtful. “Mom”, she said: “That makes sense. You’re right. It would be just as crazy, just as ridiculous, to leave love out of my marriage to Pure, as it would be to leave flour out of a bread recipe. Actually, maybe even crazier!!”

“If He let me marry Him without a love for Him, I would not last long. We would no last long. Though He loves me as much as He ever could, even then, if I did not love Him, the relationship could not… well, would not work. If I did not truly love Him, Mom, I could end up cheating Him, leaving, lying about Him… it could end awfully, and it would all be because of me! Love is the tying bond. What else could hold me to Him? A marriage without love is an ocean with no water!” Uncertain One had to gasp for breath at this point.

Even though the power was out, her heart was growing light. We leave her there, thinking.

Our lives have meaning – a poem –

We sit
We think
We cry
We smile
We help
We hurt
We wave
We sigh
And we die

What is the meaning? What’s really real?

Everything has meaning. That girl you smiled at and she simply glanced away? She was going to commit suicide. But then you smiled. She didn’t know how to respond, surprised you might really care. But you saved her life. That dog you saw get hit, that you kissed before it slipped away. It felt your love. Love for the first time in it’s meager little life of sorrow and hunger. Your touch was not in vain.
Listen, you never know the extent of your impact. But Yah does, and He knows your desire to help. Hear this: He sees your secret compassionate tears for your country, your heartbreak for the homeless, your utter joy in that child’s smile.

So smile.

God formed you and molds you. Our each heartbreak He feels and heals. He’s coming again.

So smile.

Allegory ch. 2 The statement; Don’t believe everyone

The statement; Don’t believe everyone

Breakfast being finished, and all the chores done, Blessed Gem sent her daughter to the market to buy some eggs. “Here’s the money, Uncertain One. Be gone with you now dearest.”

Uncertain One meandered into town, still deep in thought. Once she arrived in town, she ventured over to Brave and Sure Jewel’s shop. Although small, it was well kept up. Quaint.

“Greetings again, Sure Jewel! I’ve come to buy some eggs. I sure like your petite shop here in town.” “Well, thank you, Uncertain one.” Sure Jewel replied.

“But back to you, Uncertain One. I know just saw you only this morn, but what think you of our discussion?” “Ah, Sure Jewel. I know not what to think.” Uncertain one replied, her gaze falling. Whispering now; “I have not even MET Him. I mean, I don’t know, He’s very likeable. But yet, you KNOW He asks of me my whole LIFE, do you not?!” Sure Jewel smiled sadly.

Brave entered the conversation. He whispered also, gently saying; “Oh, Uncertain One. You indeed have much to learn. You marrying Him would indeed say you are willing to give your life to Him. But He would thus say the same thing by marrying you! Has not he already given up Himself? By this gesture of asking your hand in marriage, wanting to know you personally (Although He has always known all about you1), and everything else He is doing, He is showing you He’s already decided something. That He will give His all for you, forever. What do you say, Uncertain One?”

“Oh, uh, I-I’ll think about it. Thanks for the advice. I’ll take the eggs and be on my way, However. Thank-you and good-bye.”

The words of truth spoken by her wise friends shook her up, and began additional wheels turning in her already churning mind.

With mere moments to collect her thoughts as she strolled home-wards, Uncertain One passed an UN-apologetic, stuck-up one. Wishfully Above was an elderly woman, with a hunched back. She always wore a black shawl. No one quite understood the thin spectacle of life, but they knew one thing: she was a cunning soul, indeed. She was well known the town over.

In her loud, straight forward way, she began her spiel. “Greetings, Uncertain One! I bear tidings of JOY! I hear you are sending letters to some perfect lad you met, who lives quite far from here. Hu, most ladies of this town marry their own kind.” Uncertain One grimaced. “Yes, I know. And they live a lifeless life. They don’t usually show love, Wishfully Above! It seems to be torture, the way I look at it!”

Wishfully Above sighs. She continues her speech. “Yes, yes, yes. Well, let me continue, child. You know it is quite normal for one to love those who love them. Quite common, indeed, yes?” Uncertain One replies, saying, “Yes, there’s just not much love around here at all, though. That’s how it should be, nevertheless.”

“Oh, but Uncertain One, you should know it is simply not so with this gentleman, Pure that you know. Just so long as you strictly obey His every command to the tittle, He’ll welcome you to His beautiful home. Oh no, you don’t need to love Him one bit!”

Uncertain One was thinking during all this; Around here you don’t need to love any one. Only those who know Pure love anyone. Wishfully Above is WRONG! Love is good. And we don’t have it around here! I just don’t know how to give it, truly. Her parents and friends had shown her what true love for another is, but she was still learning how to extend it herself.

Uncertain One spoke. “But, but- I wouldn’t want our marriage to BE like everyone else’s around here! Don’t you understand? People’s marriages around here are dry- they’re lifeless!” Uncertain One tried to calm herself. “Forgive my hasty speech. How could this be, Wishfully Above?”

Even though she did not love Pure, she knew, deep inside, she should. And she wanted to.

“Ah, you are wrong, child. There are no buts about it. No questions to be asked. I am smart. I know. I have many years behind me, you know. Went to school, too, even though not many girls did when I was a young. No need to worry, you ARE fine as you are. No love needed, no guilt pleaded!” She chuckled. “Simply keep your obeying skills shiny, shiny, shiny, that’s all.”

Uncertain One groans silently and replies. “Wishfully Above, I thank you for your input, really, but I see your case! No need to draw it out further, please. I shall see you… another time.” She turned around abruptly, ready to get home.

Haughtily, wishfully Above exclaims: “Well! At your insistence I’ll go! But mind you, I’m smart. I know. Don’t get off track, young lady! Good-bye!!!”

Officially parting ways, Uncertain One faintly echoes “Good-bye”.

After helping Blessed Gem with the day’s washing and doing her daily chores, Uncertain One finally told her parents about her trip to the market. Her Father spoke gently, “Uncertain One, you must be careful on your journey to find love for Pure. Some people, if they do not know Him, don’t understand, and can’t really help you. Other persons are in your situation. They can encourage you, but not bring you closer to your goal. If, Uncertain One, you have a goal…” His gaze upon his daughter was kind and firm. And questioning.

“Oh Father! You are wise! But all I know is I want to get out of this mess! You are right, I don’t have a goal yet. I don’t know whether or not to serve and love Him. My heart says “Perhaps”. My mind says “How can I?”. I know I must weigh the balances!” Her mother says; “Yes, Uncertain One, Yes.” She so wanted to lift her daughter’s burden, but knew Uncertain One must work through her own confusion.

“It’s getting late my child. It is nigh eventide. Sweet dreams dear.”

“I shall try Mother; Father. But my mind races. I doubt my sleep will be very peaceful. I love you both.”

Uncertain One patted off to her room. Her parents glanced at each other. Strong Believer spoke. “She is a smart little lady. But she needs Wise King’s and Pure’s holy spirit to guide her. Let us kneel in prayer.” “Yes, my love.” Blesed Gem smiled slightly.

“Our kind, all-knowing Father, Wise King, we praise You for Your grace, and thank You for Your power. Thank You for this day and our daughter, Uncertain One. We now ask that you give Your spirit to our daughter, Uncertain One. She can not see her path alone. Deep-down, she knows what is right, but she knows not how to do right, Father. Let her meet Your Son one day, as we have. Let us all worship you in spirit and in truth. We await Your return. Give us faith during this time. Praise to you. HalleluYah.”

Coronavirus- to be or not to be scared, that is the question…

Should we be scared about the Coronavirus? It’s spreading, if that’s what you mean. It’s much smaller than the flu so far, if that’s what you mean. We have Yah (God) with us if that’s what you mean. Read on and weigh the scales.

The American Center for Disease Control (CDC) states about COVID-19 that there have been 1,215 cases in the United States, 36 deaths, and that these people live in 43 jurisdictions- 42 states, and the District of Columbia. (Includes both confirmed and presumptive positive cases reported to the CDC since January 21, 2020. That is, with the exception of people repatriated to the USA from Japan, Wuhan, and China. Also, local and state public health departments are making their own tests and reports on cases, so the CDC says that if there seems to be a difference in information from the CDC compared with the local/state departments, the local/state depts. are to be considered more up to date.) Source

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), originally called Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) according to the NY times, actually started back in 2019. But the first situation report was posted by the WHO on January 21, 2020.

According to the World Health Organization’s(WHO’s) Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) Situation Report –52, As of March 12, 2020, there have been 3,173 deaths in China, and 1,440 elsewhere (in multiple countries/territories (117), and on the cruise ship Diamond Princess). For the entire earth, then, this totals 4,613 deaths. Yesterday there had 4292 deaths.

It appears China has it off the worst over all, but that the rest of the world is getting “sicker quicker”; see the Situation Report -52 here.  Altogether (In & out of China),  there are 125,048 confirmed cases of the virus. This is scary.

According to the CDC, in 2017 the suicide statistics are as follows.;

All suicides

With 183 countries listed, the United States comes in number 27, according to the “world population review” website. See also W.P.R.’s source, W.H.O. Note: these two links list the USA per 100,00 as 15.3. According to the WHO site, this is apparently from 2016. So, if I am reading that correctly, we’re making progress. 😀

So, we compare (In 2017) over 47,000 deaths in the United States due to suicide, as compared to 4,613 COVID-19 deaths for the entire earth. Perhaps we need to just wash our hands and focus on mental health and family values….

Here is a really good article posted on the CNBC website, written by Jessica Bursztynsky on February 3, 2020; The flu has already killed 10,000 across US as world frets over coronavirus.

An excerpt of the article reads;

“In the U.S., it’s really a fear based on media and this being something new,” Dr. Jennifer Lighter, hospital epidemiologist at NYU Langone Health, said of the new coronavirus. “When in reality, people can take measures to protect themselves against the flu, which is here and prevalent and has already killed 10,000 people.”

The coronavirus outbreak, however, is proving to be more deadly than the flu. It has killed roughly 2% of the people who have contracted it so far, according to world health officials. That compares with a mortality rate of 0.095% for the flu in the U.S., according to CDC estimates for the 2019-2020 flu season. The CDC estimates that 21 million people will eventually get the flu this season.”

Under the “Key Points:” section, the CDC website (link for flu-related page I’m quoting) states that “CDC estimates that so far this season there have been at least 34 million flu illnesses, 350,000 hospitalizations and 20,000 deaths from flu.”

So, there are dangers in the world. Scary viruses, confusing political schemes, sad family situations…you name it. We just need to cast out fear in Yah’s name and live in His love, trusting Him. We need to take precautions and play it safe….but lets not all get OCD either. 😉

My Bride My King An Allegory-Chapter One

Rev 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

MY Bride,

My king

–An allegory–

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Revelation 19:7

Author: Yah’s girl a.k.a.Uncertain One

Pre-face:

I know, you probably want to ‘get on’ with the story, but please read this brief overview and explanation first.

I began writing this story because I’m dealing with many of the same problems “My bride” deals with. I’m not ‘solved’; you may not be when you finish the book. But I hope it’ll be a diving board for you.

The main characters are Wise King, Pure{My King}, Uncertain One{My Bride}, Strong Believer, and Blessed Gem. Wise King is our Father in Heaven, Pure is our Saviour. Uncertain one is a legalistic believer, struggling for a true love for Pure. Strong Believer is Uncertain One’s Father. He is wise, and is faithful to Wise King and Pure. Blessed Gem, Uncertain One’s Mother, is kind and also a firm believer in Wise King and Pure.

Nearly every time I read over a chapter in this work, I ended up changin’ something. Even when I thought it was about right!

Now, you may feel you do not need to look up the verses I reference, but I highly recommend you do. Or you could read it once and look them up, then read it over. Why would I want you to? For two things. (1) you see where in the Bible the principles I discuss really are & (2) become certain on what I’m talking about. And if you do not find the principles as outlayed in this work, please DO question the ideas put forth, and let me know!

P.S. This isn’t real touchy on doctrine and is easy reading. Yet if you struggle like Uncertain One, It may be uncomfortable. And that feeling could grow. But if so it may help you change…for the better. To our Father be the glory.

Grow for the Father,

Yah’s girl a.k.a. Uncertain One

Grace and peace from our Father!

Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left; That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them: But cleave unto [Wise King] your [Wise King], as ye have done unto this day. For [Wise King] hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day.” Joshua 23:6-9

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the [Master Pure], to testify the gospel of the grace of [Wise King].” Acts 20:24

The battles raging within

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of [Wise King]: but he that doeth evil hath not seen [Wise King].”3 John 1:11

Therefore thou shalt love [Wise King] thy [Heavenly Father], and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.” Deuteronomy 11:1

See Deuteronomy 4:40

Uncertain One Thinks about the man whom she is in contact with. He has asked her to marry Him. He loves her! Yet, she struggles to totally love Him.

As she considers her state, unexpected visitors arrive.

Uncertain One, a fair yet plain girl, sat at her mother’s kitchen table. Though slightly beyond the age most ladies marry, she was still single. Her mother, Blessed Gem, was nearby, stirring the porridge on the old pot-bellied stove. Uncertain One was comfortable and content. Yet, she was perplexed.

She was reading silently a letter she’d received from one, who’s surname was Everlasting. She paused and quizzed herself. Pure K. Everlasting. Residence, New Jerusalem. She knew He loved her. Tremendously! His letters emanated love and hope in every word. But where was her love for Him? She just wanted to please Him by her obedience. To impress Him, as if somehow she took Him as someone who only took her at face value. Someone that was picky about her behavior, to the extent He expected legalism. But this wasn’t true. All He really wanted was her whole heart. She continued reading the love-soaked letter.

He spoke of the love He had for her, and encouraged her to do right. He kindly spoke of how much He wished for her to love Him. He assured her His love would never end, that it was based on her real worth, not what most saw on her surface. They had corresponded for awhile by this time, and so He had already explained some of the ‘rules’ of His home, the standards He’d expect. They were obviously written in stone, but He did NOT want Uncertain One to follow, unless she had a desire and loved Him back. Did she?

Uncertain One paused her reading. So intense were her thoughts, she could not even smell her mother’s cooking and baking, being oblivious to her surroundings. Staring blankly, she thought: “How can He expect so much? Well, I must do everything exactly as He said. I will! But it isn’t easy. Can I do it? I would LOVE to obey every word if I loved Him as much as He loves me. Those standards are great. But CAN I make myself do so? With out working to love Him? Can I do it on my own? But- DO I want to give my life to this guy?”

Truly, He had shown her many things she must follow (obey), as she could bear them.1 He, “meek and lowly in heart”, was gentle, yet firm.2 But poor Uncertain One didn’t comprehend that He didn’t want her to obey on her own power. That wasn’t the point at all. Her growth was supposed to be a combined effort.

She sure did strive for His expectations. But she was learning, ever so slowly, that she could not do it on her own. She wanted to obey perfectly, indeed. She wanted control of the situation. But she was struggling, due to her lack-of-love.

She had afore-time stopped eating unclean meats,3 and began to pay tithe of all she had grown, bred, and of all her increase.4 Wise King and Pure were working on her heart!

Sadly she was, however, though only months into the relationship, already “weary in well doing”5. It was work! She wasn’t used to His rules. Why keep them anyways, if she didn’t love him? There were many questions within her.

1John 16:12 + 2Matthew 11:29 + 3Leviticus 11, Deuteronomy 14, 12:22-25, & 15:22,23 + 4Leviticus 27:30-34, Deuteronomy 14:22-29, 2 Chronicles 31:6 & Matthew 23:23 + 5Galatians 6:9, 2 Thessalonians 3:13

She remembered well His soft words; “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”

He continued, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” 1

He was a light to her heart, and an uplifting thought to her days. Well, at least slightly. But how could she let HER light for HIM shine before men!? It was still rather frail. She thought she MUST be the “weakest of the weak”. She was so confused. Indeed, hard to be strong for a cause OR a man you barely know and hardly love!

Uncertain One’s parents were also a grand help. Pure had told her parents earlier; “Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.” 2

She had spoken of her dilemma to them a few times before. She presently brings it up again to her Mother. Blessed Gem takes the porridge off the stove, and sets it down to cool. She settles in a chair near Uncertain One at the table, and speaks. “Uncertain One, you can not truly be following Wise King and Pure’s commands without love for Pure and His Father. In fact, child, loving Him is one of His commands.” She smiled, but spoke with a serious tone in her voice.

1Matthew 5:13-16, 21 Thessalonians 5:14

Blessed Gem’s husband, Strong Believer, walks in, carrying an arm-full of wood. As he had over-heard a snatch of their conversation upon entering, and having sensed the situation, he reminds Uncertain One of Pure’s words, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”1

“Uncertain One”, Blessed Gem added, “you must first love Him. He’s right about that. Why else wouldst you obey?”

Uncertain One, arising, said; “Thanks Father, Mother. I shall go mull this over for awhile yet again. Keep me posted on the mail, at least if it’s from Pure.”. She gave a slight smile.  They replied, “We will call you when breakfast is ready.”

As she lay on the davenport, she reflected again. She couldn’t see Him until a certain date, but she did not know the date.2 Yet, she must be ready by that time. For, ready or not, He would come to take her. Home, if she agreed. To everlasting death If she refused the invitation. She would be choosing that, as well.3

Suddenly, she was ‘awakened’ from her dreamy thoughts. There was a knock, then a voice floated in through the old oak door of the room. “Greetings, Uncertain One!” Uncertain One sat upright. “Oh, greetings!”, she exclaimed, surprised to have visitors. One lad and one lady, Brave and Sure Jewel, entered. She welcomed her friends in.

“Uncertain One”, Brave said, “We are here to speak with you, for we hear you are in contact with one, a man named Pure K. Everlasting.” “Indeed I am, in contact, that is!”, Uncertain One said, in an almost put-offish evasive manner.

Brave went way back with Pure, having met Him years before. Brave was wise, kind and very smart. Sure Jewel, also a good friend of Pure, was meek, sweet, and also wise.

Brave continued: “Well, Uncertain One, we simply wanted to advise you on a few points. We have met Pure, and are glad you are contemplating this important move. Now, guessing you assume, or even KNOW that He loves you, what would you think or feel if Pure failed to truly love you, or spurned you for another?” Uncertain One began to reply, but Brave cut her off, continuing.

1Deuteronomy 6:5, Psalms 116:1, 145:20, Matthew 22:37,Mark 12:30, 2Matthew 25:13, 3Mark 13:35 & Luke 12:40

You would feel betrayed, no matter HOW you felt about Him, likely. You would accuse Him of being a deceiver, a cheat. Am I correct?” “Well, yes, I suppose.” Uncertain One, wincing, replied. She had hardly thought of such vile possibilities!

Sure Jewel joined in. “Uncertain One, Uncertain One. How could you, then, knowing that, pose as His ‘sweet-heart’, if you thought YOU might do like wise, and make Him feel like that?” She paused for effect. “ If you are to marry Him, live with Him, obey Him, maybe DIE for Him, you had better love Him!”

“Well…” (Uncertain One replied, rather sheepishly.) “I do not know how YOU knew MY plight, but I do suppose you are correct. I thank you. I shall ponder your words!”

Brave and Sure Jewel departed and bid farewell: “We believe it is His spirit that sent us to you today. Your parents told us your situation on our way to your room. It is time for us to depart now. Our shop in town should open soon, Uncertain One. We best be on our way. Blessings, dearest.” They were glad they had done their part, yet anxiously awaited Uncertain One’s decision, and thus, destiny. “Blessings, and Thank-you”

“Uncertian One? Breakfast be served!” “Coming Mother!”

Life’s victories

As we all well know, life has victories and defeats. Some of you may remember a post I wrote about there is Hope awhile back, featuring the song Yesh Tikvah by Benny Friedman. My family was going through a very hard time, through an experience that threw us into a troubled year and a half. A defeat. The incident has since been nearly fully resolved, only because of a miracle from Yahuwah* Himself. A victory.

I was at a meeting last night, where about 50 people were served supper before a meeting-service (with singing, etc). The gentleman in charge, Mr. S., had gone to the grocery store earlier in the day to order 25 lbs of chicken. (25!) As he was checking out, there was a man who was in a little bit of a hurry. The man only had a little chicken he was going to buy, worth about $3. Mr. S. offered to take the tag from it and buy it for the man, who promptly declined his kind gesture. Mr. S. insisted. He said that if the man refused, he may be robbing Mr. S. of the good deed God had set before him to do that day. So, with a little urging, the man allowed Mr. S. to purchase his chicken, and the man went on his way. Later, Mr. S. returned to pick up his order, worth about $150.00. Would you guess who had paid the bill? In full? None other but that man Mr. S. had purchased the $3 worth of chicken earlier! A victory.

One of my sweet pullets, Keturah, got internal parasites recently. She succumbed, dieing a few days ago after some treatment. (We’ve never dealt with this before (family helped me)). A defeat. Then, my little cockerel, Abraham Lincoln M. M. also had the same problem. He is doing pretty well as of right now, eating and drinking after not doing so for a time. (Family helped treat him). The only other pullet I have of their kind, Sarah Phillip’s, is doing great. (She has been given preventative natural & conventional treatments.) A victory!

About 2,000 years ago, a man hung, dieing on a tree on a hill. He was giving his life for His friends. On the surface, a defeat. Then, He rose from the grave, proving one day that death will die. He is in Heaven, alive, ready to take us home one day. A real victory.

Whether your day feels like a defeat or victory right now, remember;

  • Yahuwah* already won the biggest war. So fight your battle heartily.
  • Attitude is half the Battle.
  • What is now a defeat may very well be changed into a victory later. Romans 8:28
  • Wars are won one battle at a time. Fight where you are at. Don’t get bogged down with the whole future, but do keep your eye on the goal.
  • Don’t rely on yourself. Lean on Yahuwah*.
  • Try to see yourself like Yahuwah* sees you. Lauren Daigle, “You say”

Yahuwah* already won. So will we, if we’re on His side.

As you can tell, I love music. I leave you with 2 songs.

*Update: Abraham died. But it was my own fault. I didn’t treat him when I should have. I’ll leave it at that.

Shalom!!

*Name I use for God

Free Indeed

Hi everyone.

It’s been awhile. But, “Hi”!

I wanted to share a song with you I wrote earlier. (Actually, I still have to work on the tune.)

The chorus is based off of John 8:36, KJV: “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Note: Yah & Yahuwah is God, Yahusha is His Son.

Verse 1

Sometimes we forget just who we are – Focus on our mistakes, don’t feel up to par

Feel lost in a whirlwind of our woes – Thinking we have to fight alone against our foes

We talk about freedom on this earth – It’s like we forget that special verse

Chorus:

If the Son  – If the Son

Shall make you free – Shall make you free

If the Son Yahusha therefore – shall make you free – you shall be free indeed

Praise Yah we can be free-indeed

Verse 2

Trying to trust someone around us – Forgetting the One above who never leaves us

Wishing life were better, feeling the strain – But even in winning battles you can feel the pain

We talk about Yah as if He were somehow distant – Somehow forgetting He’s friend and Father too (Chorus)

Verse 3

We’re not hopeless, we’re not abandoned – We are Yah’s children, His dear creation

Look up to heaven, try to truly live – And never forget just who your Father is

So when you are tired, just look above – And when you are lonely, accept His love (Chorus 2x)

Ending:

Praise Yahuwah freedom is truly found in Him!

Take courage! He has overcome the world!

God is there. Are you?

Fun 1/2 true speel: Looking at my website of late, one might assume I’ve been a tiny bit of a dry pen. Maaaaybe. But, hey man, I’ve been busy. 🙂 I know, I know, we all say that, right? Well, it is partly the busy where you mean “That’s not my priority right now”; but also, I went on a trip to see some really good friends, and then there’s

Important now:there’s this thing in my family that I’d like y’all to pray for-unspoken. Anyways…

I was talkin’ to the family, and said that I wrote this – but it was God’s idea… you know. My brother just said that “It was a team effort”. So I want y’all to hear it.

#RealStuffNow lol: Here goes:

We talk about us running from God&Him chasing us. We tend to picture one person running in a straight line, pursued by god, also running in a straight line. That’s nice enough.

But I have a new picture. We’re all running. In lots and lots of circles, at all different speeds, and in opposite directions. (No wonder we’re confused now a days!)

We each think we’re covering new ground as our paths intersect. But in reality, we’ve been here before, and so have others. You ask where God is?

God is rightfully in the center of it all – in the middle of our wild circles. He doesn’t chase us. He doesn’t have to train like an athlete to be able to catch up. He’s right there.

He could stretch out His arm and tap us on the stomach with His finger, and we’d fall right over. But He doesn’t. He wouldn’t. So we run on in our own rebellious way.

As we run in our life, we think we’re getting farther from Him. Because we’ve run sooo far. But He’s there. Always still there.

Have you ever held a bug, and let it crawl from palm to palm? It thinks it’s gone so far. Thus with us. All this time later, we’re still in God’s palms.

Now, there are a few people in the circle. It is a very special place, where one is in intimate relationship with God. God and man, one on one, like Moses.

How do we get there?

Stop running.

What happens when you stop running? Well, for one thing, you get the biggest bear hug of your entire life! You repent. You apologize.  You find grace, through surrender. You follow Yahuwah with your whole heart, soul, body, mind and spirit.

Then guess what? You’re set for life. Just don’t start running again.

And love Yah more and more, every day, hour, and minute.

Talkin’ to myself here.

Shalom y’all! Yah & I love you!

Not an Angel

I am not an angel. Yes, I have good in me, like everybody – but only because of Him.

Please don’t look at me and judge me as a crazy person, with wrong ideas.

But also, please don’t judge me as a perfect or smart person.

I have good. I have bad. I’m human, like you.

I mess up. A lot.

I have problems with love, compassion, patience, perseverance – and so on.

I don’t need to tell you all of my problems. But I also don’t want anyone to look at my blog and think I’m perfect – far from it. Maybe I have good ideas, but they then originate from God.

I am better than no one, although my pride tells me otherwise.

A lot of stuff I post is because I need to work on it, too. So don’t think, “Oh look at her judging…(This is very short) post. She must be good at not judging.” But instead, “Oh, look. She has to work on that too.”

Why did I write this? Because I have a lot to work on concerning my last post, Your Personal Purpose (as well as others!), plus I want to work on not being hypocritical.

And to be honest, I think you’ll like me for posting this. Sinful nature there…

Anyways, done with that rant.

Shabbat Shalom to you & yours!
