See the baby, see the child

Below is a fact sheet from planned parenthood. Please check it

Plz. look @ the annual abortions on the visual chart below.babylless_care_no_matter_what

Why am I showing you this? The first chart was for PPH and the second wasn’t for PPH. I fall into the second category.

Now, this isn’t a post throwing all the facts about. Above are a few, but that’s all you’re gonna get. I am going to tell you my own abortion story, to give you a good reason why “I fall into the second category”.

Before I get into this, let me say one thing- Women do have reasons for aborting. I may not comprehend those reasons, I’ve never been through the process. I have never been in their place, their situation, their shoes. So I must make that clear.brothers-457237__340

Before my Mom knew I was inside her, she had a much-needed surgery on her hip. She took some super strong medicine, because the doctor tested and said she was not pregnant.

Then Mom realized – she was pregnant. She went to a doctor. He said that she was. I was not expected to be healthy.

Two very close friends of my Mom advised her to abort me. (Which could be translated as murder.)

“Wow, thanks for your help guys!”; she was thinking. What help was that?

She knew I may not make it. I may be deformed. Still born. She couldn’t say.

But she decided to wait it out. To trust our heavenly Father, Yahuah. To know that what ever happened was His will. To give me a chance.

By now, you know her decision proved fruitful.

I had a compromised immune system; that was pretty much it. Born 2 weeks early, 5 lbs. 2 oz.

I’m here. I’m alive. I’m Healthy.DSC09984

I could have been thrown into a trash-can. I could have lived for a mere few months only to be literally thrown out.

But I wasn’t.

Yet so many are.

In 2014, 652,639 legal induced abortions were reported to the CDC from 49 reporting areas. The abortion rate for 2014 was 12.1 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44 years, and the abortion ratio was 186 abortions per 1,000 live births.

I could have been a statistic, as so many precious babes. But HalelluYah, I’m not. And I plan to use my life for His glory.

Thanks, Mom.

Thanks, Yahuah.

If it’s a crime to kill a human being, it’s a crime to kill a child. And if it’s a crime to kill a child, it’s a crime to kill a baby. And if it’s a crime to kill a baby, it’s a crime to kill an unborn baby.

      1. What is an unborn child? You mean a fetus? If it’s early term, then yes.

There is absolutely no reason a four week pregnant girl or woman should have to remain pregnant and give birth against her will.

      2. Shalom Amanda,
Well, I can see reasons for her to not want to “go through” with it. And I think we can agree that the longer the wait, the bigger the reason to save the life. But life is life.
        Job 31:15 (KJV)
“Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?” Also Psalm 139:13-16 Genesis 1:27

We both have our opinions. May we both come into the truth, that it be the ultimate decision. Thank you for starting this discussion.

  1. I at least somewhat see what you are saying. You think we should not force our religious values on others. (Correct me if you don’t mean that.) To me, that does and does not make sense. Here in America, we are to live free as long as we do not harm others. I don’t think we should go to someone’s house and force tham to do something that is part of our religion, although we may share our beliefs (As you and I do here). But if somebody comes to my house, and if (for a crazy example!!) my religion prohibits any type of shoes, I can ask you to leave your shoes in your car. You may do so, or you are free to leave.
Many folks are not religious/spiritual. O.k. But I am. So my belief is based off of that. I think Yah values life.
(For your side, if a girl got raped and goes straight to the Doctor, I might be o.k. with that. As said above, I have not been in the situation. But I don’t know if I’d want to wait much longer than that.)

I’m sharing my opinion. We’re all different.
Feel free to reply, but I think I may check out of this conversation soon.

Oh, Amanda, thanks for reading the article! (Even though you apparently disagree, you read it. I appreciate that.)

  2. I’m glad your Mom said “no” to abortion. And I’m grateful for all the other women who made the choice to keep their baby despite difficult circumstances. The world needs people who value life for what it is.
